Let Go, Press On

Guest Pastor Rev. Bart Kelso’s sermon:

During this season of transition in the life of Burlington Presbyterian, there may be an element of insecurity. It’s natural for some folks to yearn for the stability of a former time, or to be anxious over the unknowns of the future. God calls us to “let go” of past achievements, and of past mistakes, and to “press on” toward the twin goals of knowing Christ and becoming like Christ. In this we have the Apostle Paul as our mentor, and Jesus himself as our supreme model.
